RGM (Richard Grant Mouldings) started business in the 1960's and today operate from a 30,000 sq ft factory in Leighton Buzzard, UK. Today’s car accessory market has changed dramatically in 50 years – having started with styling kits and numerous accessories today’s car manufacturers have improved the specification of their vehicles and it is now more difficult to bring new accessories to the market. RGM has overcome this problem by working closely with car manufacturers and car importers. Rearguards are just one of RGM’s recent new products which have been taken up by the manufacturers and importers. There are now over 550 vehicle specific applications and new models are constantly being added. Four colour options are available, black, silver, carbon look and the latest ‘brushed alloy look’. Other body protection products now include a large range of door sill protectors, wheel arch covers and PU body mouldings. RGM also designs and manufactures products for many companies who ‘own brand’ and then sell on into the market. These products include fan cowls, complete dashboards, roof consoles, lighting products, air conditioning covers for RAC vans, battery covers, rally light retaining rings and body panels for the latest Pod Zero vehicles. RGM also offers a CNC trimming service to other vacuum forming companies who do not have their own 5 axis CNC facility.
