A Complete Fibreglass Front Bumper by Lumma Tuning.
Made in Germany to TUV Quality Standards & Includes Fittings as Necessary.
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic)
Sometimes confused with plain Fibre Glass, parts manufacturing in GRP is altogether a more complex business. In reality GRP is more like a reinforced and layered composition of materials which, when brought together, forms a very tough, lightweight and durable laminate. It is shatter resistant and does not dent or corrode. All these properties make it ideal for car bumpers and side skirts.
GRP/Carbon Composites.
Made in much the same way as GRP, these Carbon composites are different because the first lamination is a Carbon effect film, before the remaining Glass Reinforcement layers are applied.
Once cured the Carbon Film becomes an integral part of the product which can be used in exactly the same way as GRP.
FiberFlex
Originally developed for the surfing industry, FiberFlex is an all new type of resin which has proved itself useful in the Car Body Styling Industry.
Although very similar to GRP, the main difference is that once cured Fiberflex retains a high level of flexibility, making it more resistant to everday use.
Add to that, the material's high resistance to chemicals, oils and extremes of weather and you have a product well suited to this application.
All of our products are sold unpainted, unless otherwise stated.
