Unless You Already Have KDC Mirrors on Your Car You Will Also Need to Select the Correct Base Plates to Mount the GTR K10 Style Mirrors on Your Car. If you Require Electrical Adjustment You Will Need to Remove a Glass From Your Original Mirrors and Check How Many Wires are on the Electric Motor.

About our Custom Door Mirrors.
We have one of the biggest ranges of custom car mirrors available online in the UK. All of the KDC Ultra door mirrors on our site are available with mounting plates to suit a wide range of cars. To fit the mirrors to your car you will also need to purchase a mounting kit. The mirrors and backing plates are made from ABS plastic and require minimal preparation for painting, most mirror styles are also available with a polished chrome finish, to save painting. Door mirror mounting kits consist of black ABS plastic brackets & the screws to suit.
NOTE: Manual Mirrors are adjusted by moving the glass by hand.
Electrically adjusted Options
All of our custom car mirrors are available with or without electric motors. If you would like electrically adjustable mirrors you will need to know if you require 3 wire or 4 wire motors. This varies from car to car, so we cannot advise you on which type you will need. The easiest way to check is to remove one of your mirror glasses and count the wires leading to the motor.
Wiring Instructions for 3 Wire Mirror Motors.
Step 1:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the UP position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live and connect to the BLACK wire on the mirror motor
Step 2:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the DOWN position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live and connect to the WHITE wire on the mirror motor.
Step 3:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the RIGHT position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live and connect to the RED wire on the mirror motor.
All functions should now be operational.
Wiring Instructions for 4 Wire Mirror Motors.
The 4 wire mirror motor works on a clutch principle. The single motor is engaged on all functions. Without the clutch engaged the motor operates the LEFT and RIGHT functions, but with the clutch engaged , the motors operates the UP and DOWN functions.
Therefore, with the LEFT and RIGHT functions, there will only be one positive and one negative to the motor, whereas with the UP and DOWN functions, there will be two positive and two negative feeds.
To identify which wire on your car operates which function, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the LEFT position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live and connect to the BLACK wire on the mirror motor.
Step 2:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the UP position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live. The wire already connected to the BLACK wire will be live, the other wire that is live needs to be connected to the WHITE wire on the mirror motor.
Step 3:
Hold the mirror adjuster switch in the car in the RIGHT position. Check the car wiring to see which wire is live and connect to the BLUE wire on the mirror motor.
The LEFT and RIGHT functions should now be operative.
Step 4:
The negative wire for the clutch mechanism now needs to be located to facilitate the UP and DOWN functions.
If you only have one wire that is not already connected to the motor, then this wire needs to be connected to the BROWN wire on the motor.
One some vehicles there will be other wires for mirror heating or other functions. If it is not possible to distinguish between these wires and the mirror adjustment wires it will be necessary to try connecting each wire, one at a time, to the BROWN wire on the motor, whilst moving the mirror adjustment switch UP or DOWN. If the wire is the correct one, the mirror will adjust UP or DOWN according to the function operated. If it is the wrong wire, the motor will adjust to the LEFT or the RIGHT.
Once the correct wire has been identified, connect this wire to BROWN wire on the mirror motor.
Wiring installation is now complete.
Wiring Instructions for LED Side Indicators.
If you have bought door mirrors with integrated LED side indicators there will be 3 wires coming out of the mirror housing (black, white and blue). You need to wire the black wire to earth and the white wire to a live indicator connection, normally on the wing side repeater, or can be from the front indicator. The blue wire is for a parking light and is not used in the UK, so tape up and leave spare.
